Nepeta cataria, a pleasant herb that promotes relaxation, is called catmint. Higher doses might be considered moderately psychedelic and enhance the imagination.
Cats are reported to experience a brief state of ecstasy when exposed to the scent of Catmint, which causes them to roll over, purr, growl, and become very playful.
Usage
Use around 25 grams per litre of water to make a strong cup of tea. Shortly bring to a boil, then steep for 15 minutes. Add honey or sugar to taste after straining.
