Ephedra - Ephedra Sinica
Ephedra - Ephedra Sinica - 20 Seeds
The gnetum family includes the ephedra plant (gnetaceae). It is a 60 cm (2 ft) tall, upright shrub with broom-like leaves. The stems lack leaves and are youthful green turning a light olive color as they get older.
Growing: The Ephedra is hardy and requires little care. Aim to sow the seeds at 20 °C (68 °F). Grown either inside or in a frost-free, warm, dry environment. It performs admirably in a loose, rocky soil with full sun and minimal water, as well as in typical loamy soil. Most frequently, clumps are divided in the spring, and seeds are spread in light, sandy soil in the early spring.
